You will be responsible for installing electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes and customer specifications, in a safe and efficient manner that demonstrates the quality of craftsmanship and service excellence our customers have come to expect from us.

  • Troubleshooting circuitry and repairing components on industrial equipment and systems
  • Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and OEC to determine wiring layouts for new and existing installations
  • Provide diagnostic assessment of malfunctioning systems to identify the issue and then to correct the problem
  • Demonstrate leadership through training of an apprentice
  • Independently run jobs in an efficient manner
  • Install conduit and wire terminating conductors
  • Install fixtures and devices for customers industrial applications and systems
  • Complete jobs- creating a work order, review with customer and ensure fulfillment

Requirements:

  • Certified journeyperson electrician with a valid 309A license
  • Proof of vaccination for Covid-19
  • 5+ years experience in the commercial and industrial industries
  • Solid knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code
  • Working at heights certification
  • Valid First Aid and CPR
  • Current criminal record check
  • Valid G class drivers license, with a clean driver abstract
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Superior communication and problem solving skills

Experience in these areas would be an asset:

  • Conduit wiring layout and installation
  • Dealing with evolving customer requirements
  • Troubleshooting repairs and break-downs in a logical and timely manner
  • Ability to supervise and work with an apprentice
